The Insurance Marketing Coalition Limited (“IMC,” “we,” “us,” “our”) respects your privacy. This
Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy” or “Policy”) describes how we collect, use, and disclose your
Personal Information. It governs information we collect through our website, www.imcorg.com,
(“Site”) and information we collect from you or third parties through any other means to
provide our services or perform other organization activities (collectively, “Services”).
Please read this Privacy Policy before using our Site and/or Services. If you do not agree with
this Privacy Policy, you must refrain from using our Site and Services. By accessing or using our
Site and/or Services you agree to our use of your information consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Privacy Policy Changes
This Privacy Policy is subject to change. We encourage you to review the Policy frequently for
any revisions or amendments. Unless otherwise stated, changes will be effective immediately
upon posting. You will be deemed to have been made aware of and have accepted the changes
by your continued use of our Site and/or Services. You are responsible for ensuring we have an
up-to-date active and deliverable email address for you, and for periodically visiting the Site and
this Privacy Policy to check for any changes. The date the Policy was last revised is identified at

Conflict Between This Policy and Local Laws and Regulations

We may collect information that personally identifies, relates to, describes, or is capable of
being associated with you (“Personal Information”), including:

login credentials;
ï‚· Characteristics of protected classifications such as age, gender;
ï‚· Commercial information such as payment card or bank account information, account
status, sponsorship information, event-related preferences including dietary
restrictions;

ï‚· Internet or other electronic network activity information such as browsing/search
history, IP address, data collected by cookies and similar technologies, device
information such as device IDs, specifications, and operating system;
ï‚· Geolocation data such as precise and non-precise geographic location indicators from
mobile devices and website;
ï‚· Audio, electronic, visual, thermal, olfactory or similar information such as call
recordings, chat transcripts, email correspondence, testimonials, pictures;
ï‚· Professional or employment-related information such as employer, occupation, title;
ï‚· Education information such as education level;
· Inferences drawn from other Personal Information or data that relate to your
preferences, interests, characteristics, psychological trends, predispositions, behavior,

The type of Personal Information we collect about you may vary based on how you use our Site
and/or Services and your relationship with us.
Usage Data and Site Activity
We automatically collect information in connection with the actions you take on our Site or
when using our Services (“Usage Data”). For example, each time you use our Site, we may

operating system and version, your IP address, your internet service provider, the pages you

from, and within our Site, and the duration of your visits to our Site. Among other things, this

consent to our recording and retention of communications.
How We Collect Information
From You

We may ask you to provide us with Personal Information when you communicate with us online
or offline, including membership applications, web forms, registrations, events, surveys, and
marketing or promotional programs. You are not required to provide us your Personal
Information. We may also capture your contact information, such as phone numbers and email
addresses, when you contact us.
Other Data Sources
We may collect Personal Information from other sources such as your representatives and/or
employees, publicly available sources of information, marketing agencies, and other members,
organizations, businesses, and consumers.

We use cookies (a small text file placed on your computer to identify your computer and
browser) and other automated tools such as pixels to track your interaction with our Site and to
improve the experience of our Site and Services, such as saving your preferences from visit to

pixels” and (2) “clear gifs.” Tracking pixels are pieces of executable code that are embedded in a

and how long the pages are viewed. Clear gifs are tiny graphics with unique identifiers which
are embedded in web pages and email messages that track whether a user views a web page or
email message. User activity information may be associated with additional information about a
user’s session and Personal Information, if provided by the user.

you that you provided to that other website, such as the terms you searched that led you to our
Site, may be transmitted to us and we may use it. You should review the Privacy Policy of any

Information from Advertisements
If you arrive at our Site via an advertisement (e.g., banner ad), we may collect information
regarding the advertisement with which you interacted and your interactions (e.g., item clicked,

applications, create member accounts, allow members to create online accounts and

contests, promotional events, or to otherwise communication and interact with
members and consumers;

Services and analyze your use of our Site;
ï‚· Eligibility and pricing: to determine if you are eligible for certain products, services, or
offers and the pricing related to such offers;

ï‚· Product research: to conduct research and analysis for maintaining, protecting, and
developing Services, increase and maintain the safety of our products and Services, and
prevent misuse;
ï‚· Organization operations: to evaluate, develop, and improve organization operations,
products and Services offered, carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising
from any contracts entered into between you and us, perform organization
administration and other normal organization activities.

contractual obligations, our policies, and take actions that we deem necessary to
preserve and enforce our rights and the rights of others; and

fraud programs.
Reviews and Testimonials
If you provide a review or testimonial, we may post it publicly on our Site or in other advertising
material. By providing a testimonial, you give us permission to use it in any manner and for any
purpose, including in marketing and advertising communications.
Marketing Opt-Outs
If you do not want us to use your Personal Information for certain marketing purposes, you may
take advantage of applicable opt-out options such as opting out of promotional emails through
an unsubscribe link at the bottom of those emails.

Each Service Provider is expected to use reasonable security measures appropriate to the
nature of the information involved to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized
access, use, or disclosure.
Third-Party Selling and Sharing
We generally do not sell or share (for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising
purposes) your Personal Information to other entities who do not provide services to us (“Third
Parties”).
We may, from time to time, sell certain non-Identified Personal Information to other entities
who do not provide services to us (“Third Parties”). For example, we may sell Personal
Information listed in the Identifiers category to event sponsors for the purpose of analyzing
event attendance and/ or direct marketing.
Other Third-Party Disclosures
We may occasionally disclose your Personal Information to Third Parties, for purposes such as:
ï‚· For other members to contact you;
ï‚· To comply with the law;
ï‚· To respond to legal requests (including court orders, investigative demands and
subpoenas) if, in our discretion, we believe it is necessary or appropriate;
ï‚· To prevent or stop any illegal, unethical, or legally actionable activity;
ï‚· To protect the safety, property, or rights of ourselves, members, or any other third party;
ï‚· If we are merged, acquired, or sold, or in the event of a divestiture, restructuring,
reorganization, or transfer of some or all of our assets and the disclosure is necessary to
complete the transaction;
ï‚· To organizations controlling, controlled by, or under common control with us; and
ï‚· For additional purposes with your consent where such consent is required by law.
Data Security

We recognize the importance of safeguarding the confidentiality of Personal Information from
loss, misuse, or alteration. Accordingly, we employ (without obligation) commercially
reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect Personal Information
from unauthorized access, disclosure, and use. 
The safety and security of your Personal Information also depends on you. Where we have
given you (or where you have chosen) a password for access to certain parts of the Site, you
must keep this password confidential. We ask that you not share your password with anyone
and urge you to be careful about giving out information in public areas of the Site, like message
boards. The information you share in public areas may be viewed by any user of the Site. 
Even with data security safeguards in place, no data transmission over the Internet or other
network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect
information transmitted on or through our Site or Services, you do so at your own risk.
Children’s Privacy
Our Site is not intended for children under 16 years of age. No one under age 16 should provide
Personal Information to us or on the Site. We do not knowingly collect, sell or disclose Personal
Information from children under 16. If you are under 16, do not use or provide any information
on our Site.
California “Do Not Track” Disclosure
Do Not Track is a web browser privacy preference that causes the web browser to broadcast a
signal to website requesting that a user’s activity not be tracked. Currently, our Site and
Services do not respond to “do not track” signals.
California Shine The Light Law
Under the California “Shine the Light” Law, California residents who provide Personal
Information to us to obtain products or services for personal, family, or household use have the
right to request once per calendar year information about third parties with whom we shared
Personal Information with for their direct marketing purposes and a description of the
categories of Personal Information shared. California residents may also request to opt-out of
our sharing of Personal Information with third parties for their direct marketing. To make a
request, please email us at Info@IMCorg.com. Please include “California Privacy Request” in the
subject line and your name, address, and email address. We will respond to you within 30 days
of receiving your request.
